Earlier this week a deputy was dispatched to Caryville’s Dilbeck Lane in relation to a reported assault. When the deputy arrived in the area he saw Michelle Michael Albright, 45 of 381 Dilbeck Lane, walking down the road. When questioned about the reported incident Albright states that she and the victim had a verbal dispute of a purse and that the victim had left in a small maroon car.
The deputy notified central dispatch, who then called and located the victim. The victim stated that they were at the Quick Stop in Caryville. The deputy made contact with the victim who stated in the report that she left the Dilbeck Lane residence out of fear of further bodily harm. The victim also stated that Albright came to the residence irate over a purse and the victim told her she could look for it. The victim further stated that Albright struck her in the head with an unknown object and also scratched her near her ribs on the right side of her body. The victim refused medical treatment.
The deputy took Albright into custody and took her to the Campbell County Jail for booking. Albright is charged with assault.
This is Albright’s 32nd booking in the county jail.
