Todd Burgan has been a successful golfer for many years. Know the LaFollette native will be playing against some of the best in the country.
Burgan has qualified to play in the Senior US Open. This year’s event will be held at the University of Notre Dame’s Warren Golf Club in South Bend, Indiana. The 50 year old Burgan qualified as one of less than two dozen amateurs to make the field that will also include many legendary professionals including Paul Lawrie and Gary Niklaus. Burgan will not be the only East Tennesseean there as Lenoir City’s Ray Morton will also be competing.
Burgan had a practice round today and is set to tee off early tomorrow for the first round. Burgan’s younger brother Curt will serve as his caddy.
