Sarah Cain was the driving force of Lady Cougar basketball last season. After her high school career ended she signed with Bryan College, in Dayton, TN, to play on the next level. For many people the transition from high school to college on the court can be a tricky one. This was not the case for Cain.
In the second game of the season the Bryan Lions faced the Ambassadors of Oakwood University. The Lions won in a dominating fashion by a score of 95-43.
Sarah Cain played a part in those 95 points. The freshman guard was 4 of 8 from beyond the three point arc and was perfect on her free throws (2-2). She contributed total of 16 points on the evening.
The Lions are 2-1 on the season and will be playing at nearby Union College, in Barbourville, KY, over the weekend as they will take on the University of Rio Grande in the Union College Classic on Friday night at 6 PM.
