Ricky Lee Gross, age 57, of LaFollette passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed spending time with his son. Preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Lula Gross; brother, Clifford Gross, Jr.; sisters, Linda Steakley and Glenda Mae York and aunt, Toby Heatherly.

Glenn Douglas Ford

Glenn Douglas Ford, age 52, of LaFollette passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020. He graduated from Campbell County High School in 1985 and was employed by Eagle Bend and Rexnord for 18 years. Preceded in death by father, Marvin Ford; both grandparents, Lucille and Samuel Jameson, Hobert and Geneva Ford.

Walter Ben Henegar

Mr. Walter Ben Henegar age 90 of LaFollette passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020. He was a long-time Deacon and member of Forks Grove Baptist Church. Walter was a retired road builder, and after his initial retirement, founded Upstate Construction. He served as a Campbell County Commissioner for 3 terms, and at 88 years old served as the Night Watchman for Deerfield Resort. Preceded in death by Wife, Ruby E. Poston Henegar, Son, Sam Henegar, Grandson, Benji Henegar, and several Sisters.

Survivors: Daughter, Patsy Wilhoit and Husband, Vernon; Son, Rick Henegar; Grandchildren, Casey Wilhoit, Keysa Suttles, Jody Henegar, Brandi Brown, and Jeremy Henegar; Great-Grandchildren, Caleb, Madison, RaeLeigh, Destiny, Brandon, and DeShawn; Special “Grandson-in-law”, Thomas “Hoolie” Suttles; Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Tuesday, August 4, 7 P.M. at Forks Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Poston and Rev. Chris Allen officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. before funeral services. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens for Graveside Services and Interment. Marvin Ivey

Mr. Marvin Ivey age 60 of LaFollette passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020. He attended Fincastle Church of God. Marvin was a former Sewing Machine Mechanic employed with Camel Manufacturing. A true family man, Marvin enjoyed being with his Children, Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren. Preceded in death by Father, Owen Ivey, Sister, Sandra Harness, and several Aunts and Uncles.

Survivors: Wife, Darlena Lawson Ivey; Children, Rodney Ivey, Jessica Phillips, Bruce Phillips, Michael Phillips, Lacey Ivey, Emily Ivey, Hayden Ivey, Skylar Ivey, and Bryson “Little Man” Ivey; Grandchildren, Zach, Brittany, Jacob, Colton, Josh, and Addilynn; Great-Grandchildren, Donovan and Journey; Mother, Mrs. Lena Gross Ivey; Brothers and Sisters, Janie Silvey and Husband, Sammy, David Ivey and Wife, Sherry, Larry Ivey and Wife, Nancy, and Gayle White; Special Friends, Red and Susie Wilson; Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Wednesday 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday before services. Anna Lee Hughes Adkins

Anna Lee Hughes Adkins, age 91, of Jacksboro, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020. “Grandmom” was a loved mother, grandmother of 12, and great grandmother of 15. She was a member of First Baptist Church Jacksboro where she taught Sunday School for 36 years and sang in the choir. She retired as the secretary from the Campbell County Road Department. Preceded in death by her loving husband, E.L. Adkins; parents, James and Melissa Wells Hughes; granddaughter, Melissa Byrd; sisters, Mildred Hughes, Louise Summers; brother, J. Frank Hughes and son-in-law, David Jones.
