Verlin M. Mynatt, age 95, of LaFollette, passed away on October 26, 2019. He was a WWII Army Veteran of the 34th Infantry Division. Retired from LaFollette Medical Center and attended Cherry Bottom Baptist Church. Preceded in death by wife: Jolene Walters Mynatt, parents: James and Surelda Nelson Mynatt, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

Sister: Katherine
Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.

Ollie Phillips Carroll

Ollie Phillips Carroll, age 90, of LaFollette passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019. She was member of Calvary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband Jasper Carroll, sons: Donnie, Ronnie and Bobby Carroll, grandson: Bryson Carroll, siblings: Jack Phillips, Eva Bunch, Ervia Moore McCullah, Reba Carroll and one infant sister.

Tabitha Georgia Markley

Tabitha Georgia Markley, age 47 of LaFollette, passed away on October 17, 2019. She enjoyed crocheting, animals, and doing crafts. She attended New Life Ministries Church. Tabitha loved her kids very much.

She is preceded in death by her Brother Bradley Huling.

She is survived by her husband Brian James Markley of LaFollette, mother Linda Huling & husband Benny of LaFollette, father Ray Lane & wife Annette of Clinton, son Adam Markley of LaFollette, daughter Katy Markley of LaFollette, brother Gregory Huling of Knoxville, sisters Kimberly Weirick of Knoxville and Amber Lane Allen & husband Zach of Jacksboro. A host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 11 AM – 1 PM Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 1 PM with Rev. David Goins officiating. Interment to follow in Disney Cemetery.

Helen Louise Rose

Helen Louise Rose, age 84 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 17, 2019. She was a member of Grape Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe, Michigan. Helen enjoyed music and dancing.

She is preceded in death by husband Marvin J. Rose, parents Robert and Laura (Moss) Barnes, brother Raymond Barnes.

She is survived by daughter Laura Hurst & husband Michael of LaFollette, brother Damon Barnes of Michigan, sisters Christine Fraczkowski of Maryland and Pat Kidwell, grandchild Laurissa Douglas, and a host of other relatives & friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Sunday, October 20, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 AM Monday, October 21, 2019 with

Rev. Bo Freeman officiating. Interment will follow service in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Glenn Edward Ayers

Glenn Edward Ayers, age 79 of LaFollette departed this life Tuesday, October 15, 2019. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. Glenn was a United States Navy Veteran.

He is preceded in death by son David Ayers, parents Jerry and Dollie (Blackard) Ayers, brothers Jerry, Ronnie, and DW Ayers.

He is survived by wife Alice Faye (Summers) Ayers of LaFollette, sons Roger & wife Stephanie (Price) Ayers of Vonore, Anthony Ayers of Johnson City, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives & friends.

Visitation will be 6-7 PM Friday, October 18, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Pastor Don Profitt officiating. Friends and family will meet 10 AM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in procession to Bakers Forge Cemetery for 11 AM interment. Military honors provided by Campbell County Honor Guard.
