Betty Lou Rutherford

Mrs. Betty Lou Rutherford, age 82, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Garland Rutherford, sister Wanda Stump, and brothers Bob Rutherford and Calvin Rutherford. Betty traveled the world and made her home in The Philippines, Germany, France and several different locations in the US. She loved people and her family with all of her being. Betty enjoyed league bowling, playing rook with the family, and bingo. She professed her faith in Jesus at a young age and is now with her family in heaven.

She is survived by her brother Garland, nieces Faith (Danny) McCullah, Hope (Rance) Tillotson, and nephew Dean (Susie) Dillon. Great nieces Megan McCullah, Charity Tillotson, Great nephew Cody McCullah, and other family and friends. The most special person in Betty’s life was her great nephew, Cody McCullah. She loved Cody as if he was her own child. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Summit View of Lake City for their tender care and patience.

A private graveside service will be held with Cody McCullah officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Adventures in Missions c/o Cody McCullah 2610 Kensington Alley, Gainesville, GA 30504. George Folton McFarland

George Folton McFarland age 78 of LaFollette, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012. He was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church and attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, member of Stooksbury Masonic Lodge 602 F&AM , Knoxville Scottish Rite Body and a US Army Veteran. He retired from the Campbell Co. School System after 38 years of service and recently was an employee of Grace Rehab. Preceded in death by Son

Edna L. Petree

Mrs. Edna L. Petree age 95 of Duff passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at LaFollette Medical Center. She was a member of New Freedom Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Husband, Harry H. Petree; Sons, James Earl, David and Bobby; Granddaughter, Misty; Great-Granddaughter, Bailey; Parents; Charlie and Ila Blidge Calfee Brady; several sisters, and one brother.

Survivors; Daughters, Rosa Draker of LaFollette, Jewell Clark and husband James, of Atlanta, GA, Nancy Smith of Atlanta, GA, and Karen Jane Douglas and husband Ricky, of LaFollette; Sons, Harry Van Petree and wife Margaret, of Waterford, MI, Charles Petree and wife Mary, of Duff, Paul Petree and wife Ann, of Morristown, TN, and Jack Petree and wife Wendy, of LaFollette; Twelve Grandchildren, Several Great-Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Tuesday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Graham and Rev. Wade Walls officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday 11 A.M. at Campbell Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sandra K. McCloud McCord

Sandra K. McCloud McCord age 56 of Jacksboro went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her father, Wiley McCloud, brother, Raymond McCloud, nephew, Charlie McCloud, niece, Angel Ballew, and grandmother, Louise Phillips. She was a member of Walk by Faith Church, Lenoir City, and Co-Chairman of the Prayer Committee.

Mrs. McCord is survived by; Husband, James McCord of Jacksboro, Mother, Vesta McCloud of Jacksboro, Brother, Charles McCloud and wife Sheri, of LaFollette, Brother, Wiley McCloud Jr. and wife Roberta, of Dandridge, Sister, Debra Ballew and husband Jimmy, of LaFollette, Brother, Harold McCloud and wife Patty, of Independence, VA, Brother, Everett McCloud and Renee Stanfield of Jacksboro, Brother, Greg McCloud and wife Debbie, of LaFollette, Stepson, Aaron and Kayla McCord, Stepdaughters; Devia McCord and Telisha McCord, Mother-in-law, Barbara Giles of Loudon, TN, Brother and Sister-in-law, Tony and Lisa McCord, Brother and Sister-in-law, Kevin and Nikki Richardson, Sister-in-law, Lisa McCloud.
