Raymond Marlow

Raymond Marlow, age 82 of Jacksboro passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Summit View Nursing Home in Lake City. He was a member of P.E.R.S. Retirement Board. Raymond enjoyed fishing and working on his car and he loved his family very much.

Preceded in death by First Wife: Costine Marlow. Parents: Rosie and Calvin Marlow. Daughter: Nancy Hamilton. Step Daughter: Diana Williams.

Survived by Loving Wife: Alice Faye Byrd Marlow. Daughters and Sons in Law: Linda and Wayne King and Kathy and Jim Brown. Stepdaughter: Charlene Lawson. Stepson: Kenneth R. Chadwell. 10 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Hazel Byrd, Nadine Elkins, Christine Goins and Betty Trammell. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. George Asbury officiating. Interment will be 10 AM Monday in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday night before funeral service.

Margie “Granny” Everhart

Margie Everhart, age 93, of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 19, 2011, at Signature Health Care of Rogersville.
She was affectionately known as “Granny” to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A. D. Everhart; father, Tom Walker, mother, Rose Walker; step-mother, who raised her, Cordie Walker; sisters, Mary Arnold, Cynthia Walker, Myrtle Walker; brothers, L. C. Walker, Arthur Walker, J. A. Walker, Fred Walker, Jr.; son-in-law, Frank Leake.
She is survived by her daughters, Charmie Bewley and husband Bob, Ulva Ann Leake; grandchildren, Teresa and Keith Seals, Tina and Dale Crownover all of Surgoinsville, Tim and Amy Knight of Jacksboro; Troy and Danielle Knight of Bluff City, Keith and Betsy Carpenter of South Carolina, Scott Bewley, Tony and Christina Knight all of Rogersville; great-grandchildren, Ian and wife Amber Seals, Jessica Seals, Jacob Seals, Brian Knight, Keith Crownover, Kayla Knight, Emily Knight, Seth Knight, Kalista Knight, Michael Knight, Tori Knight, Jade Carpenter, Amanda Morelock, Jason Morelock; three great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild to arrive any day; brother, Lawrence Walker of Morristown; sister, Pynthia and Eugene Spears of Rogersville; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Persia Community Cemetery.

Lucille F. Emmett Vincent

Lucille F. Emmett Vincent age 87 of Lafollette passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at her home. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Vincent enjoyed cooking, reading books, loved listening to gospel music, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren very much.

Preceded in death by Husbands: Walter Vincent and Rev. Arnold Emmett. Parents: John and Leona Cordell. Brothers: Rev. Ralph, James, Kenneth, and Evan Cordell. Sisters: Jean and JoAnn Cordell.

Survived by Son: Wayne Emmett and Wife: JoAnn of Lafollette. Step Daughters: Darlene Hatmaker and Husband: Ken of Knoxville, Charlene Hatmaker and Husband: Ron of Deer Lodge, TN and Carolyn Lockwood of Clinton. Grandchildren: Kristi McGhee, Audrey McKamey, Kelly Emmett, and Jason Carden. 9 Step Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Naomi King, Lorene Leach and Husband: Ed, and Dorothy Tackett all of Lafollette. Special Friends: Opal Orick and Sue Draughn, Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of Relatives and Friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Saturday, January 22nd in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Michael Vincent officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Sunday in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday night before funeral service.

Mrs. Juanita Lowe Partin

Mrs. Juanita Lowe Partin, age 80 of LaFollette went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 19, 2011.  She was a member of the Indiana Avenue Baptist Church of LaFollette.  Juanita was raised in Clairfield, TN and lived in Middlesboro, KY for 48 years.  Juanita taught in the Middlesboro City School System for 27 years.  While living in Middlesboro, Juanita was an active member of Old Yellow Creek Baptist Church and then East Cumberland Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by parents, General and Dorothy Lowe, brothers, Chester Lowe, Ray Lowe, and Jimmy Lowe, and sister, Jessie Snyder

Juanita is survived by her husband, John Partin, Jr.; Three Sons and Daughters-in-law, Barney and Paula Partin, of Belle Center, OH, Greg and Ruth Partin, of Powell, TN, and Rev. Mark and Charlene Partin of LaFollette; Six Grandchildren, Chris, Makayla, Ryan, Adam, Aaron, and Colby Partin.  She is also survived by one brother, Riley Lowe; Five Sisters, Loraine Davis, Wilma Hamblin, Dorcas Ditmer, Bernice Allen, and Norma Lowe.

Funeral Services Saturday, January 22, 2011, 3 P.M. at the Indiana Avenue Baptist Church in LaFollette with Rev. Mark Partin and Rev. Phil Taylor officiating.  Interment to follow at Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 P.M. Saturday before funeral services.  The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Indiana Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 604 South Indiana Ave., LaFollette, TN 37766.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Juanita Lowe Partin.

Wayne Lee Richardson

Wayne Lee Richardson, age 81 of Jacksboro went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at his home. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church of Jacksboro. Wayne was a loving husband of 52 years, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved to attend church at Macedonia where he was deacon, Sunday school teacher and church clerk for over 48 years. He served on the Equalization Board of Campbell County, was a member of the board of directors of Farm Bureau until he became ill. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family which he was very proud of. He also enjoyed farming, turkey hunting, woodworking and the outdoors.

Preceded in death by Son: Ronald Wayne Richardson. Grandson: Sammy Wayne Richardson. Brothers: J.C., Judson, Otis and S.D. Sister: Wilma Pierce.

Survived by Wife: Faye Richardson. Sons and Daughters in Law: Sam and Melinda Richardson and Scott and Rebecca Richardson all of Jacksboro and Steve and Connie Richardson of Dandridge, TN. Grandchildren: Travis, Robert, Chris and Stephanie Richardson of Jacksboro. Great Grandchildren: Hunter and Hannah Richardson of Jacksboro, Randall, Elizabeth and Sheri Batts of Dandridge. Brothers: James E. Richardson of Jacksboro and Shields Worth of Lafollette. Sister: Eva Lee Chadwick of Ohio.

Funeral Service will be 1 PM Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. J.T. Asbury, Rev. John Hunley and Rev. Bill Hicks officiating. Wayne will lie in state from 12 until 1 PM Saturday before funeral service. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Friday night at the funeral home.
