Janie Lou Head

Janie Lou Head, of Long Beach, age 68, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 in Gulfport.
She was a native of the Gulf Coast almost 40 years. Her family was her life, and she was an extremely loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parent, Edward Cox and Etta Daugherty Cox; a brother, John Elmer.
She is survived by her husband of 47 wonderful years; Lt. Col. (retired) James A. Head, Jr. of Long Beach; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Head of Biloxi; son, James A. Head, III of Biloxi; sisters, Sue Vena Cox Morton, Nancy Lee Cox Hickey; sister-in-law, Brenda Cox; brothers, Edward Cox, Jr., Ray Dean Cox, Bobby Cox; Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS.

James Printis Lindsay

1st Sgt. James Printis Lindsay, age 76, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 in Clarksville, Tennessee after a long illness. He was born August 31, 1935 and was a native of Campbell County. Preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Austin Lindsay; infant son in Germany; four brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors:

Daughters: Katherine Joy, Fort Hood, Texas

5 grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren

Visitation will be 3 – 7 PM Wednesday at McReynolds & Nave Larson Funeral Home
in Clarksville with Services at 7:30 PM.

Interment on Friday at 2 PM in the Kentucky Veteran Cemetery – West Hopkins, Ky. with Military honors.

Rev. Jehu Parks, age 77, of Caryville, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Pastored at Bear Waller Baptist Church of Caryville and Mount Paron Baptist Church of Jacksboro. Member of Woodlake Baptist Church. Retired from MKHK & Rust Engineering after 37 years of service and a 50 year member of Labor Union Local 818.
Preceded in death by parents, Luke & Creatie Paul Parks; twin brother, Lihu Parks; brother, John L. Parks; Druscilla (Sissy) Parks

Johnny Darren Foust age 45 of Kettering, Ohio, passed away Dec. 8, 2011. He was of the Church of God Faith. Preceded in death by Grandparents Moss & Edith Foust, O.C. & Imogene Wilson, Aunts Trula Wilson, Fleda Manley, Fay Chance & Agalie Hilnbrant, Uncles Daniel Wilson, Hobart, J.H., & Ralph Foust.

Lola B. Irwin

Mrs. Lola B. Irwin age 74 of LaFollette, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Golden Living Center-Windwood in Clinton, TN. She attended the Duff Baptist Church, loved to fish and watch the Lady Vols. Preceded in death by husband, Augdon Irwin, parents, Tom and Liddie York Bolton, brothers, Hobert, Drew, Lewis and Elbert “Nubbin” Bolton, sisters, Marie Lay and Rachel Petitt, and nephew as a brother, Carl Bolton.

Survivors: Children, Gayle Campbell and husband Bill of New Mexico, Audrey Bunch and husband Harold of LaFollette, Augdon Irwin Jr., and wife Christy of Oliver Springs, and Mark Irwin and wife Rhonda of Wartburg, TN. Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Elois Shears and Ethel Keathley both of LaFollette. Brother, Clarence “Bass” Bolton of LaFollette. Niece raised as a sister, Verlene Paul; Nephew raised as a brother, James Bolton both of Michigan. Several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Friday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wade Walls and Rev. Donald Allen officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday 10 A. M. at Keathley Cemetery for graveside services and interment. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday before services at Walters Funeral Home.
