Charles “Joe” Brandenburg

Charles “Joe” Brandenburg, age 62, of LaFollette passed away September 11, 2011 at his home. He was a member of High Knob Baptist Church and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents Authur & Helen Brandenburg and infant sister Shirley Brandenburg.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah Brandenburg of LaFollette, sons Eric and Paul of LaFollette, Sandy and Maverick of Crossville, Bobby of Johnson City, son and daughter-in-law Joey & Rikki of Lenoir City, daughters Pascah of LaFollette, Deborah Sanford & Hannah Sartin of Knoxville, daughters and sons-in-law Maranatha & Daniel Nelson of LaFollette, Jerihlyn & Ralph Marcum of Jacksboro, Terra & Dustin Figueroa of Chattanooga, brother and sister-in-law Jerry & Karen Brandenburg of Greenville, sister and brother-in-law Shelia & Matt Galloway of Knoxville, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson chapel with Phil Rutherford and Rev Paul Hembree officiating. Interment will be on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bakers Forge Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson chapel.

Everett W. Miller age 85 of LaFollette, passed away Friday Sept. 9, 2011. He was a member of Demory Baptist Church and US WWII veteran, former owner of Whitman Hollow Boat Dock and retired from Furtex. Preceded in death by Parents

Ricky Damone Chambers age 51, of LaFollette passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 at Fort Sanders Medical Center. He was of the Baptist Faith and a retired Registered Nurse. Preceded in death by Parents Clegie & Marie Sexton Chambers.

Eddie Buttram

Eddie Buttram of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2011. He was a very loving father and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, watching sports on TV, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Eddie never met a stranger, he befriended everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his father Louie & Zelma Dobbs Buttram and son Winston Buttram.

He is survived by his son Michael Buttram of Scott County, daughters Keisha Byrd of LaFollette, Shawna Buttram of Florida, Lindsey Buttram of Florida, and Stacey Buttram, brothers Willie Buttram and wife Deloris and Darryl Buttram all of LaFollette, sisters Trudy Nelson of Ohio, Virginia Rogers and husband Teddy of LaFollette, Betty Heron of LaFollette, Judy Rogan of Ohio, Kathy Hyder and husband Ronnie of Caryville, Phyllis Johnson and husband Joe of LaFollette, and 9 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Lawrence Henegar officiating.
