Bobby Malicoat

Bobby Malicoat, age 60, of LaFollette passed away onThursday, March 8, 2012. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle that enjoyed spending time with his family. Bobby loved hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents Edward & Rose Helen Malicoat and sister Edith Mae Osborne.

He is survived by his wife Margie Malicoat of LaFollette, sons Jason Malicoat of Eagan and Curtis Hawn of Clinton, daughters Amy Malicoat of Clairfield and Cole Shepard of LaFollette, brother Donnie Ray Malicoat and wife Patty of Clairfield, sister Wilma Reynolds and husband Donald of Franklin, OH, and grandchildren Joshua Scott Malicoat, Nicholas Tute Malicoat, Pete Dalton Shepard, Erika Hawn, and Teirra Hawn.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson Chapel.Funeral service will be on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hamblin Town Freewill Baptist Church in Clairfield with Rev Travis Miller and Rev Pete England officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Hall Cemetery.

Bobbie Jean Hill Borthwick

Bobbie Jean Hill Borthwick age 76 of Nashville, formerly of Caryville passed away February 25, 2012 in Nashville. She was a member of the Church Of Christ. Preceded in death by Husband Tom Borthwick, Parents Harvey & Dana Hutson Hill, Sister Hill Hillan and Brother Johnny Hill.

Robert Wayne Savinsky

Robert Wayne Savinsky age 64, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of LaFollette, passed away February, 2012. He was born & raised in LaFollette and graduated from LaFollette High School. Preceded in death by parents Noble & Thelma Riley Savinsky.

Survivors: Brother Joe Savinsky, Smithville, VA

Interment was held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM

Lonnie Taylor

Sgt. Lonnie Taylor, age 65, of Jacksboro passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville. Sgt. Taylor received the Purple Heart and Commendation medal while serving active duty in Vietnam. He was a member of the Ivey Dell Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising animals, and working in the yard. He loved his family and grandchildren very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents John & CindyTaylor, and brothers Lester, Luther, Ed, and Kennith Taylor.

He is survived by his wife Judy Taylor of Jacksboro, sons Lonnie Taylor Jr. and wife Angel of Jacksboro and Steve Taylor and wife Charlotte of LaFollette, brother Jess Taylor of LaFollette, Sisters Sue Smith and Ella Nolan both of LaFollette, 9 grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, March6th, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will follow the visitation with Rev JR Dilbeck officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday,March7th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chadwell Cemetery.Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside services.

Mildred Carson Roehl

Mildred Carson Roehl age 81, of Jacksboro, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012. She was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church and retired from First National Bank in LaFollette after many years of service. Preceded in death by Husband James William (Bill) Roehl, Parents Alex & Ruth Paul Carson and Brother E.C. Carson.
