Joann Eggers Aldridge

Joann Eggers Aldridge, age 77 of Jacksboro passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Born in N. Carolina on March 31, 1934 to the late George D. & Lona Eggers. She was a homemaker, a Sunday school teacher, Girl Scout leader and loved her family and her Lord.
Preceded in death by husband of 42 years, Frank Aldridge; brothers, Bob, Frank, Eugene and Carroll Eggers; sisters, Bina Townsend, Hazel Ashley & Rosie Goodson.

James A. “Tiny” Ballew

James A. “Tiny” Ballew, age 45, of Sweetwater, passed away on Sunday March 11, 2012. Preceded in death by his grandparents: Edgar and Ruby Ballew, Albert and Edith Sweat, several aunts and uncles.

Survivors include son: Johnathan Ballew, of Gate City, VA, ex-wife: Elizabeth Presley, of Gate City, VA, mother and step-father: Wilma and Stanley Boling, of Tellico Plains, father: James O. Ballew, of Middlesboro, KY., sisters: Raylene Ballew, Cora Faulkner, Cathi Jenkins, all of Sweetwater, brother: David Ballew, of Coker Creek, 1 nieces and 6 nephews.

The family will have a celebration of life service at 6:30PM on Wednesday March 14, 2012, at the Out Post Mission Church in Sweetwater, with Rev. Blanche Settles and Rev. Larry Broglin officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the family to defray funeral expenses. Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, in charge of arrangements. > Ms. Jamie Lynn Baird age 29 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012, at LaFollette Medical Center. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was a graduate of Jellico High School.
> Survivors: Father, Ross Smallwood and wife, Ginger of LaFollette; Mother, Betty June Laws of Harrogate; Sisters and Brothers, Angie Asher of Pineville, KY, Dewayne Laws of Middlesboro, KY, Jennifer Smallwood, and Austin Smallwood both of LaFollette; Grandmother, Virgie Smallwood of LaFollette. Bobby Malicoat

Bobby Malicoat, age 60, of LaFollette passed away onThursday, March 8, 2012. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle that enjoyed spending time with his family. Bobby loved hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents Edward & Rose Helen Malicoat and sister Edith Mae Osborne.

He is survived by his wife Margie Malicoat of LaFollette, sons Jason Malicoat of Eagan and Curtis Hawn of Clinton, daughters Amy Malicoat of Clairfield and Cole Shepard of LaFollette, brother Donnie Ray Malicoat and wife Patty of Clairfield, sister Wilma Reynolds and husband Donald of Franklin, OH, and grandchildren Joshua Scott Malicoat, Nicholas Tute Malicoat, Pete Dalton Shepard, Erika Hawn, and Teirra Hawn.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson Chapel.Funeral service will be on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hamblin Town Freewill Baptist Church in Clairfield with Rev Travis Miller and Rev Pete England officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Hall Cemetery.
