Roger Deen Barker, age 47, of LaFollette passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at Mercy Residential Hospice in Knoxville. He was a truck driver and business owner. Preceded in death by grandparents, Bradley & Evelyn Barker.

The Pearly Gates Swung Open Wide for Kenneth Edward McCulley, age 87, of LaFollette, Friday, May 6, 2011 at his home. Member of Lake View Baptist Church and retired from Y-12 after 35 years of service. He loved to sing and listen to Gospel music. Preceded in death by parents, Pat & Lillie McCulley; brothers, Bobby & Buck McCulley.

Mr. Gerl D. Pish

Mr. Gerl D. Pish age 56 of Reading, MI passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011, at home. He was born September 24, 1954, in Angola, IN and graduated from Camden High School. Gerl worked at Crotty Corp. from 1973 – 1989, then owned and operated Valley Auction Barn in LaFollette, TN until 2008. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved animals. Gerl was passionate about training horses including saddle horses and barrel horses. He enjoyed going to rodeos and had a great love for auctioneering. Preceded in death by father, Marlin D. Pish, daughter, Destini Dar Shell Pish, and aunt, Ruby Bok.

Survivors: Wife, Katrina (Ayers) Pish of Reading,MI; daughter, Shayann Pish of LaFollette; 3 sons, Gerl J. (Melanie) Pish, Quincy, MI and their children, Morgan, Brody, Gerl, Macy and Madde; Matthew (Mandi) Pish, Montgomery, MI, and their children, Cole and Hannah; and Justin (Suzanne) Pish, Bronson MI, and their children, Blaine and Carter; mother, Bonnie (Faulk) Resner, of Speedwell; sister, Patti Tollas, Bronson, MI; aunt, Doris June Pish, Camden, MI.

Visitation will be Friday from 12 to 2 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Well Springs Cemetery for graveside services and interment.
