Danny Lee Giles age 60, of Caryville, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at St. Mary’s Campbell Co. He was a member of Woodlake Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Parents Bill & Charlsie Monday Giles, Brothers Teddy & Jerry Giles.

Jana Kay Boshears, age 55, of Jacksboro passed away Wednesday, May 04, 2011. A member of Woodlake Baptist Church and employed as a Secretary for the State of Tennessee Department of Land Reclamation for 33 years. Preceded in death by grandparents, Brown & Bertha Boshears and Otis & Minnie Shetterly.

Gordon Victor Jennings age 50 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at U.T. Medical Center of Knoxville. He was born December 22, 1960. Victor was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was a radio personality, longtime sportscaster and was the “Voice” of the Campbell County Cougars. Preceded in death by parents, John and Hazel Jones Jennings; brothers, John Jennings, and Clark David Jennings; sister, Gloria Ann Jennings.
Survivors: Brother, Clifford E. Jennings and wife Rebecca, of LaFollette; Nephews, Cliff Jennings, Jr. of Ogden, UT, and John Colt Jennings of Clinton, TN; Niece, Rebecca Lynn Jennings of Washington D.C.; Aunt, Gladys White of LaFollette. Several cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services Friday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Victor’s Best Friend, Mark A. Wells presiding. Interment will be in Clairfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday before services at Walters Funeral Home.
