Roger Wayne Goins, age 59, of LaFollette passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011. He was of Baptist faith. A proud member of NRA and Truck driver 30 years for Hatmaker Trucking. Preceded in death by parents, Delone & Estella Tootsie Ford Goins.

Kenneth Ward, age 80, of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at his home. A US Air Force veteran and retired from General Motors after 30 years. Preceded in death by parents, Lewis & Martha Witt Ward; sister, Iris Lee; brother, Dallas Ward.

Marie Annette Moore, age 79 of Caryville, formerly of Speedwell passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 at her home. She was a member of Well Springs Church of God.
Preceded in death by Husband Charles (Obil) Moore, Parents Paschal Pat & Viola Wiley.

Mrs. Opal H. Miracle, age 83 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011, at St. Mary’s Health & Rehab Center. She was retired from Imperial Reading Corp. and was a member of Glade Springs Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Tom and Mamie Pierce Capps, sisters, Milda Pierce, Alice Heck, and Ellen Tolliver, brother, George Capps, and sister-in-law, Geneva Capps, and brothers-in-law, Freeman Pierce and Arthur (Buddy) Heck.

Survivors: Husband, Oscar Miracle; sons, Gary Miracle and wife, Vanessa, Danny Miracle and wife, Aslee, and Michael Miracle all of LaFollette; 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; sister, Hester Woodby and husband, Ira of Harrogate; brother, Willie Capps of Speedwell, sister-in-law, Mattie Lee Capps of Indiana, and brother-in-law, Claude Tolliver of LaFollette. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Monday 8 P.M. at Walters Chapel with Rev. Larry Watts and Rev. Hobert McCreary officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday 10 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Greasy Hollow Cemetery in Speedwell for graveside services and interment. Mrs. Edna Rose Garland age 72 of LaFollette passed away at Golden Living Center-Windwood in Clinton. She was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Roy Garland and a son, Roy Allen Garland.

Survivors: Daughter Jackie Garland; Sons, Carlos “Jim” Garland and Charles “Chuck” Garland and wife Christie, all of LaFollette. Grandsons, Chucky Shelton and Tyler Garland and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services Sunday 5 P.M. at New Beginning Community Church of God with Rev. Junior Dople officiating.
