Mary Ruth Angel age 86 of Speedwell, TN passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011. She was born on December 15, 1924. She loved flowers, cooking, gardening and her family was her life.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry Foust, mother Lilly Mae Ferguson, sons William Henry Taylor and Benny Ray Angel, brothers Jackie and Bill Foust, sisters Virginia Foust and Joey McGill, and grandson B.J. Lemarr.

She is survived by her husband Bennie Angel, daughter Pamela Ruth Angel Lemarr and husband Billy Joe of Speedwell, TN, daughter-in-law Carol Sue Lester of Knoxville, TN, brothers Larry Foust and wife Sue of LaFollette, TN and Lonnie Foust and wife Kay of Cincinnati, OH, sisters Ann Young and husband Noah of Indianapolis, IN, Henrietta Holloway of Cincinnati, OH, Ina Woods and husband Jonah of Perkin, IL, Jane Hensley of Indiana, and Gay Stout and husband Bob of Indiana, grandchildren Billie Hall, Tammie Walters, and Timothy Johnson, 7 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011 in the Martin-Wilson chapel with Rev Charles Goins officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2011 in the Flat Hollow Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Jessie Sallie Heatherly, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia, formerly of LaFollette passed away July 9, 2011 at the Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga, surrounded by her loving family. Sallie was born January 10, 1936 in Union County, Tn., a daughter of the late Laska L. and Liza Clouse Farris. She was also preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Robert Heatherly on December 9, 1997; grandson, Ricky Wayne Heatherly; brothers, Glenn and Tom Farris; sisters, Azalee Meredith and Ruth Hutson.
