Mildred Farmer

Mrs. Mildred Farmer age 92 of LaFollette passed away Friday, September 13, 2019. She was a member of East LaFollette Baptist Church and member of the Jolly Heart Ladies Group. Preceded in death by Husband, LeJuene Farmer; Son, Wayne Farmer, Parents, Sandy and Gertie Cummings Bailey, Four Brothers along with Two Infant Brothers, and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Survivors: Daughter, Rebecca Fields and Husband, Don; Sons, Phillip Farmer and Wife, Nellie, Joe Farmer and Wife, Debra, and Scott Farmer; Four Grandchildren, Heather, Tina, Wayne, and Donavan; Nine Great-Grandchildren; Two Great-Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews, and many special friends.

Funeral Services Sunday 7 P.M. at East LaFollette Baptist Church with Rev. Zach Lloyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday before funeral services. James A. “Jim” Robinson

Mr. James A. “Jim” Robinson age 82 of Jacksboro passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019. He was a member of Jacksboro United Methodist Church, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and also served in the Campbell County Honor Guard. Jim established the first recycling center in Campbell County in the Valley View Community. He was an accomplished underwater diver and skydiver. Along with his wife, Joy, they enjoyed camping together, but Jim’s main enjoyment came from riding his motorcycle and being a member of the Southern Cruisers Motorcycle Club. Preceded in death by Son, David Huhak, Parents, William and Alice McCoy Robinson, and Sister, Bobbie Jo Sword.

Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Joy Marshall Robinson; Children, Ronna Scott and Husband, Thomas, Jane Paoletta and Husband, Gary, James Robinson and Wife, Susan, and Cindy Kotalik and Husband, Bill. Nine Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, church members, fellow Campbell County Honor Guard and Southern Cruisers members.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, 2 P.M. at Jacksboro United Methodist Church with Rev. Perry Duncan and Bro. Kevin Walden officiating. James Edward Partin, age 65, of LaFollette passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019. He was of the Baptist faith, a U.S. Army Veteran and employed by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Dept. Preceded in death by wife: Wanda Partin, Infant child, father: James M. Partin, mother: Aline (L.E.) Partin Swafford, brother: Billy Ray Partin, Sr., nephews: William Partin, Billy Ray Partin, Jr., Grandparents: Levi and Peggy Daugherty

Claude Richard Goins

Claude Richard Goins, age 72 of Lake City went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 11, 2019. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to play poker, fish, driving, traveling, country music, and aggravating everyone. Claude also love to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents Erastus and Mona Lee (Henegar) Goins, first wife Patricia Ann Goins, second wife Ruby Goins, brothers J.L. Goins, Junior Pennignton, Harrison Pennington, sister Imogene Howard, and special uncle Claude Henegar.

He is survived by daughter Shonna Tackett & husband James of Lake City, son Brandon Goins & wife Amanda of Huntsville, brothers Jimmy Goins & wife Brenda of Alabama, J.W. Goins & wife Rita of Jacksboro, Mack Goins & wife Martha of LaFollette, sisters Joann Pierce of Lake City, Rosemary Shanteau of Jacksboro, Anna Mae Phillips & husband Kenneth of Jacksboro, and Willene Braden of Lake City. 6 grandchildren Ashley Stanley & Tyler, Faith-Marie Goins, Destinee Jones, Jamie Tackett & special friend Austin, Patricia Goins, Pacey Jones. 3 great grandchildren Zaedyn Goins, Oaklee Stanley, and Sadie Stanley. A host of nieces, nephews, and other friends and family.

Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM Saturday, September 14, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 11 AM with Rev. Dustin Brock officiating. Following funeral service friends and family will go in procession to Indian Creek Cemetery. Campbell County Honor Guard will be in charge of graveside service.

Roy Alvin Blackwell, Sr.

Roy Alvin Blackwell, Sr., age 81 of Jacksboro went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 1, 2019. He was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. He was a mechanic by trade and loved his job. Roy retired from Campbell County Road Department.

He is preceded in death by first wife Clara Blackwell, parents Earl and Arlena (Ramsey) Blackwell, granddaughter Martina Rose Blackwell, brother Louie Blackwell, sisters Mabel Gibson and Marie Ijames.

He is survived by wife Minnie (Packett) Queener of Jacksboro, sons Eddie Blackwell & wife Sandra of Jacksboro, Joe Blackwell of Jacksboro, Roy Blackwell Jr. & wife Judy of Caryville, Marty Blackwell & wife Tabitha of Clinton, Clarence Blackwell & wife Shannon of Jacksboro, Mike Queener & wife Sharon of Rocky Top, Scott Queener & wife Cheryl of Clinton, brothers Bill Blackwell & wife Rosa Lee of Jacksboro, Robert Blackwell & wife Florence of Jacksboro, Joe Blackwell & wife Edna of Jacksboro, sisters Ruby Bratcher & husband Jerry of Jacksboro, Mary Boshears of Jacksboro, 24 grandchildren, 17great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives.
