Helen Jean Jordan

Helen Jean Jordan, age 80 of Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 29, 2019. Helen enjoyed cooking, doing word searches, and going shopping with her sisters. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Venice and Pearl (Parrott) Hutson, and brothers James Paul Hutson and David Lee Hutson.

She is survived by Husband Verlin “Curly” Jordan of Ohio; sons Jerry L. Jordan and wife Coral of Michigan, Rick L. Jordan and wife Patricia of Massachusetts; grandchildren Janae Jordan, Jeremiah Jordan, and Joelle Jordan; brothers Johnny Ray Hutson and wife Laura of Ohio, Ralph Hutson and wife Jewel of Caryville, and Rhonnie Hutson and wife Shirley of LaFollette; sisters Carolyn Campbell of LaFollette, June Lykins of Caryville, Nancy Payne and husband Glen of Caryville, and Betty Muse of Pioneer.

Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 8 PM with Rev. Kermit Phillips and Rev. Mike Rains officiating. Friends and family with meet at 9:30 AM Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for a 10 AM interment.

Elmer “Junior” Harding

Elmer “Junior” Harding, age 56 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 29, 2019. He was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. Junior also loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing, and hunting.

He is preceded in death by father Elmer Harding, brothers Dennis and Scottie Harding.

He is survived by wife Karen Harding of LaFollette, mother Mildred (Lay) Harding Bolton of Lafollette, children Eric Harding & wife Dana of Clinton, Joshua Harding & wife Alisha of LaFollette, Ashley Harding Chase & husband Adrian of Nevada, Matthew Harding & wife Kendra of Clinton, sisters Dinah Richardson & husband Leigh of LaFollette, Treasa Brock of Jacksboro, 7 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives.

Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Saturday, August 31, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 8 PM with Rev. Roscoe Lindsay officiating. Friends and family will meet 11 AM Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Allred Cemetery for interment.

Dallas Nease

Dallas Nease, age 77, of Clinton formerly of Jacksboro passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019. He was a United States Veteran. Preceded in death by parents, Crusher and Anna Kennard Nease; brothers, Bernard Nease; sisters, Dorothy Vanderpool, Joanne Arms and Christina Nease.

Imogene “Jeanie” (Byrge) Barnette

Imogene “Jeanie” (Byrge) Barnette, age 91, of Huber Heights, Ohio, formerly of Jacksboro, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019. She was born to Walter & Maude Roach on Aug. 14, 1928 in Jacksboro, TN. Jeanie was a member of the Brantwood Baptist Church. She was retired from Mad River Schools and was a member of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her husband, Russell Byrge, her daughter Sheila, and 10 siblings.

Vicky Edwards

Mrs. Vicky Edwards age 63 of Speedwell passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Vicky was employed with Dr. James Farris for many years, and later UT Internal Medicine in LaFollette. Preceded in death by Father, Elder J.C. Monday.

Survivors: Husband, Glen Edwards; Sons, Derek Edwards and Wife, Jennifer, and Bradley Edwards and Wife, Ashley; Grandchildren, Emily Edwards, Erin Edwards, Caleb Edwards, Riley Edwards, Piper Edwards, Graeson Edwards, Ella Edwards, Raelyn Edwards, and J. Cooper Edwards; Great-Grandchildren, Ayden and Layla Tinch; Mother, Mrs. Winona Sparks Monday; Brother, Michael Monday and Partner, Anthony Valdez; Many other relatives, friends, church family, and co-workers.

Funeral Services Saturday 10 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Russell officiating. Interment to follow at Braden Cemetery in Speedwell.
