Roscoe Teague

Roscoe Teague, age 82, of LaFollette passed away June 27, 2020. He was a member of Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church and a retired Coal Miner. He was a devoted husband and wonderful hardworking Dad. He dedicated his whole life working hard to provide for his family. He was a master craftsman of numerous things and a great friend to many. Preceded in death by wife, Doris Dykes Teague; parents, Moss Teague and Gertie Hunley Teague Jessie; brother, Ralph Teague and sisters, Betty Wylie and Ona Lee Hunley.

David O. Trowbridge

David O. Trowbridge, age 77 of LaFollette passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. David was a retired Electrician of 40 years from Y-12 in Oak Ridge, TN. He loved to hunt, fish, and quilt.

David is preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Trowbridge; father, George Trowbridge; mother, Hazel Trowbridge; brother, Martin Trowbridge.

David is survived by sisters, Louise McFarland & husband Charlie of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Faye Gross of Miramar Beach, Florida; children, Melanie Kron & husband Mike of Knoxville, Danielle Swank & husband Steve of Springboro, Ohio, Becky Aiken & husband Rick Jacksboro, Angie Boshears & husband Michael “Bogie” of Jacksboro, Roger Marlow & wife Heidi of Caryville; special nephew, Martin Trowbridge of

LaFollette; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be 4:00 – 4:30 PM Friday, July 3, 2020 in the chapel of Martin Wilson

Mrs. Louise Sweat Lumpkins age 88 of LaFollette passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020. She was a member of Glade Springs Baptist Church. Home, Family, and her Grandchildren were her life. Preceded in death by Husband, Finley Lumpkins, Daughter, Linda Miller, Parents, Wheeler and Lena McNeeley Sweat, Sister, Lizzie Sweat, Brothers, Albert “Ab” Sweat, Ernest Sweat, and Infant Brother, Roe Sweat.
Survivors: Daughter, Kathy Ivey and husband Ronnie; Son, Glen Lumpkins; Grandchildren, Tammy Chapman, Shannon Pribil, and Ryan Miller; 3 Step Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Taylon and Ryleigh Pribil; 10 Step Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Bob Sweat and wife, Diane. Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Saturday, June 27, 2020, 8:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Stanley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday before funeral services. Family and friends will meet Sunday, June 28, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at Victory Cemetery for graveside services and interment. Gloria Jan Michelle Henderson Overton, age 53, of Knoxville formerly of LaFollette passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020. She was of the Baptist Faith. She will be remembered for her big heart and for how giving she was. Preceded in death by father, Kenneth Henderson; mother, Janette Hamblin Henderson; sister, Melissa Henderson and grandson, Charles Eddie Allen Overton

Louie Clayborn Perry, Jr., age 63 of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020. He enjoyed restoring cars, fishing, drawing, and woodworking.

He is preceded in death by parents, Louie Clayborn and Maudie (Smith) Perry, Sr.

sisters, Jessie Jackson and Rosetta Brown.

He is survived by Sons, Scott Perry & wife Shannon of Florida, Louie Perry & wife

Margaret of Ohio; daughter, Rosetta Lynch & husband Steve of Ohio; brother, Roy Perry of Ohio; sisters, Betty Lance of Ohio, Lela Shelton of Ohio, Joyce Brown of Michigan, and Darlene Rucker of LaFollette; 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
