Toys for Tots fundraiser hitting Knoxville December 3rd

The Blackstock Arena in dwontown Knoxville will be playing host to wrestling for a great cause on December 3rd. Wrestlers from a variety of local promotions will be coming together to help gather toys for less
fortunate children for the holidays through Toys for Tots as part of the first annual Nolan’s Gift show.

The event will feature a National Wrestling Alliance World Junior Heavyweight Title Match between Chase Owens and “The Gift” Jason Kincade as part of a big double main event. The other half of the main event will feature Shane Daniels vs “The Big Gun” Robbie Race. The semi main event will feature the best unsigned wrestler in the country Shawn Shultz vs Cerebus then Lycan Assasin, who spent years with the World Wrestling Federation as Wolfie D of the Nation of Domination. There will also be a match for the EGO Pro tag titles as Warren Peace’s Money Shot Mafia will battle the Youngbloodz. Many more matches are scheduled.

Bell time is at 7:30 and admission is a new unwrapped toy of $5. The Blackstoch Arena is located at940 Blackstock Avenue in Knoxville.

Local group collecting holiday care packages for soldiers

As the holiday season approaches it is time to think of the troops deployed overseas. Care packages are being collected and will b e shipped in time for the holidays.

Items that can be donated are toiletries such as razors tooth brushes, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, ext. games, DVDs, itunes cards, phone cards, games, medicine, vitamins, shirts socks (must be tan or white), letters, and money can also be donated. No canned food or aerosol cans can be accepted.
