On Monday Deputy John Minor responded to a call from Tiffany Chambers. Chambers told Minor that Joshua Chambers, 31 of LaFollette, had been following her on Highway 25w and had threatened her with a baseball bat. The victim stated that when she got to Stinking Creek that Joshua Chambers exited the vehicle with the bat but that she was able to drive around him and get to her father’s home on Melvin Hollow Road.
SHe showed Deputy Minor that she had an order of protection against Joshua Chambers that does not expire until January. She also presented Deputy Minor with a series of text messages where Joshua Chambers threatened to kill her boyfriend and a picture of a rifle he had sent.
Joshua Chambers was taken into custody on charges of Aggravated Assault by Domestic Violence and Stalking. This is his 10th booking into the Campbell County Jail.
