The City of Jellico along with the American Legion Honor Guard Post #154 held a memorial service in honor of Gary “Boo” Leach on Saturday morning, June 13 in Veterans Park.

Many friends and family of Boo sat in attendance as they listened to the National Anthem, observed a 21 gun salute, and reminisced on memories made with Boo.

Mayor Dwight Osborn and family members of Boo then unveiled a sign dedicating South Main Street as “Gary Boo Leach Memorial Highway”.

Several in attendance said, “Boo will be greatly missed.”
