The Cougar Soccer team traveled to Rocky Top Sports World for three days of soccer action over the weekend. The Cougars were part of the Smoky Mountain Cup event. They won the cup in the Mount Collins division.

They opened up the round robin action on Friday taking on David Crockett High School. The Cougars came away with a 3-2 win over the Pioneers.

On Saturday they played the Smith County Owls. They ended up tied 1-1 with the Owls. This would set up a key match up on Sunday against Tigers of Marshall County.

Ethan Schroeder put on a scoring display for the Cougars with three goals on the day. He also assisted on another. The Cougars won the game 5-1.

The Cougars finished the weekend 2-0-1 and were the only team in the Mount Collins division not to suffer a loss on the weekend.
