On February 04, 2021, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at the home of Jessica Halcomb, DOB 02/17/1986, at 647 South Sudenny Lane in Lafollette. The search warrant executed at this residence was obtained following citizen complaints of suspicious activity. These complaints sparked an investigation in which investigators made undercover buys of Schedule I controlled substances, believed to be Heroin and Schedule II controlled substances, believed to be Methamphetamine, from the residence.

During the search of the home, investigators located narcotics to include Schedule I controlled substances, believed to be Heroin, Schedule II controlled substance, believed to be Methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia during the search of the residence. Investigators also seized an undisclosed amount of cash believed to be used in narcotics transactions. When deputies and investigators arrived at the residence six individuals were located in a six hundred square foot barn apartment. Over one hundred used needles and other assorted drug paraphernalia was present.

Ms. Halcomb was arrested on scene on charges including Possession of Schedule I and Schedule II controlled substances. She remains in the Campbell County Jail with no bond. Her court date is scheduled for April 06, 2021.

Additionally, the the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from Lafollette Police Department, executed a narcotics search warrant at the home of Floyd Eugene Walden, DOB 01/24/1966, at 1009 East Chestnut Street in Lafollette. The search warrant executed at this residence was obtained following a confidential tip. This tip sparked an investigation in which investigators made undercover buys of Schedule IV controlled substances, believed to be Xanax and Schedule VI controlled substances, believed to be Marijuana, from the residence.

During the search of the home, investigators located narcotics to include a variety of Schedule II controlled substances, Schedule IV controlled substance, believed to be Xanax and Suboxone, Schedule VI controlled substance, believed to be marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an undisclosed amount of cash believed to be used in narcotics transaction during the search of the residence.

Mr. Walden was not arrested on scene on but a case will be presented to the Campbell County Grand Jury to secure an indictment on drug related charges.
