For well over a week police were searching for James Eberharter following a 911 call that alleged that he had kidnapped Shenna Riggs. He was finally taken into custody earlier this week.
Following a tip deputies arrived at 408 Short Street in LaFollette where the located Eberharter. When the deputies took Eberharter into custody they searched him and located a prescription bottle with 30 suboxone strips inside, the name on the bottle was not Eberharter but rather it was Mary Parrot. The bottle also contained a baggy with a substance believed to be meth. A pair of hypodermic needles were also found on his person.
Eberharter was transported to the Campbell County Jail for his 18th booking.
Eberharter, age 32 of 520 Coolidge Road, is charged with La Follette for 3rd offense probation violation (criminal court), aggravated domestic assault, criminal impersonation, possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
