The weather was beautiful and the Bradford Pears were in full bloom Tuesday at the Greens at Deerfield. LaFollette and Jacksboro Middle Schools gathered at the Eagle’s home course for the first golf match of the season. The course was a little trickier than usual as the Bermuda grass was not yet green. Both teams played through it though as they played the front nine.

On the girls side the Lady Eagles came out on top by a score of 113-118. Sadie Cox shot a 51 to lead all the ladies. On the boys end of things the Eagles also picked up a victory. Jack Leach, fresh off his second career hole in one, led the Eagles as he shot a 42.
