Sheriff Robbie K. Goins is pleased to announce the apprehension of Jimmy Eberharter shortly before 9:00 A.M. on the morning of April 15th 2019 and the safe return of Shenna Baird. Eberharter and Baird we’re located by deputies and investigators at 408 Short Street in LaFollette. Investigators are conducting interviews and will soon be closing the investigations that have stemmed from Bairds disappearance on March 28th.

Campbell County woman is missing and possibly in danger. Campbell County Sheriff Robbie K. Goins is asking for the public’s help in locating a LaFollette woman

A call from an unidentified male came into E911 at 12:24 pm this afternoon. The man told the dispatcher he witnessed a disturbing event involving 26 year old Shenna Baird and he was concerned for her well being.

At 2080 Long Hollow Rd near LaFollette, the caller said he saw Baird in the front passenger seat of a small red car and detailed that she had a “busted head with blood gushing from her face.” The caller identified the driver of the car as 32 year old James Peter Eberharter of LaFollette. The man went on to say that a child was let out of the car. He said that Eberharter then drove off at a high rate of speed.

Eberharter is a wanted man. He is currently out of jail on a half million dollar bond and is wanted for violation of probation. If you know of the whereabouts of Eberharter and/or Baird, call Sheriff Goins at 423-562-7446 immediately.
