Cougar multi-sport athlete Riley Faulkner has been named Honorable Mention All-American by the Bassmaster Organization who runs high school and professional fishing tournaments nationwide.
Faulkner is one of 36 students in the nation to receive the honor. In order to receive the recognition a student must not only be an excellent fishermen, they must also be an outstanding student who makes contributions to their community outside of fishing.
Faulkner is the son of Jack and Lori Faulkner of Jacksboro. His sisters are Gracie, Maggie and Ellie Faulkner. The latter of which are also athletes at CCHS and JES respectively. His grandparents are Jack and Binnie Faulkner, Glenna Lay and the late Jim Lay of Campbell County.
