The program consists of bringing in canned food to the library, in exchange a dollar worth of fines will be forgiven. All of the food donated will be donated to Open Arms Ministry.
Open Arms Ministry provides food for residents in Campbell, Scott and Claiborne Counties. Residents of these three counties may receive food every five to six weeks, and recipients are given two boxes of food at each visit. Open Arms tries to accommodate everyone in need.
