Update 3: 3000 people currently without power in the LaFollette Utilities District. Crews will respond as they can but may be slowed due to flooding.
Update 2: From NWS Morristown. Flash Flood Warning now in effect until 11:30pm for Jacksboro, LaFollette, White Oak, Fincastle and Well Springs area. Wide spread flash flooding is underway in the area. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads! Officials in the city of LaFollette and Campbell County officials are in the process of closing flooded roads. There are also trees down as a severe thunderstorm is passing the flood areas with high winds.
Update: Weather Alert! Getting reports that some roads in the area including HWY 63 in front of LMS, are being closed due to flooding. Turn around, don’t drown! Also let us know if and where you’re seeing flooding.
