Though football season ended months ago the honors are rolling in for Blue Devils Joseph Paul and Jordan King. The Jellico dynamic duo were a potent combination as quarterback Paul hooked up with wide receiver King throughout their record setting seasons.

The pair were named all state by the Tennessee Football Coaches Association, Tennessee High School Football (www.stateoftennesseehsfb.com) and Tennessee Sports Writer’s Association all named the pair to their All State Team.

Both are fielding multiple college offers including Maryville College for Paul and Austin Peay State University for King.

Blue Devil Head Coach Brent Peel said, “Just so proud and happy for Joseph & Jordan and our whole team and also their families. And these guys would be the first to tell you that these honors don’t happen without their teammates. But I can tell you these two have definitely made a name for themselves with their accomplishments in our Region the last 2 years. And now it has spread through out the state what these two have been doing on the football field. Anytime you have kids on your team receiving honors like this it’s great for our team, our school and our community.”
