Mrs. Jessie Loy Ayers age 78 of Duff passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Cumberland Village Care and Rehabilitation Center in LaFollette. She was a member of Habersham Baptist Church, and was employed at Imperial Reading Corp. for many years before working with the Campbell County School System as a teacher’s aide. Preceded in death by husband, Jack C. Ayers, parents, Wiley and Maggie Branam Loy, sister, Katherine Loy Richardson, and brother, Rufus Loy.

Survivors: Sisters, Wilma Richie of Chattanooga and Mae Gregory of Lenoir City; brothers, Harry Loy and wife, Mary Lee of Cincinnati, OH and Bill Loy of LaFollette. Special niece, Kathy Heatherly of Jacksboro. Several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday 2 P.M. at Walters Chapel with Rev. James (Jim Bo) Bolton officiating. Interment to follow at Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.
