The coaching carousel has been spinning throughout the county. Now at least one of those positions has been filled. Amanda Jackson will be taking over as the Lady Owls head coach.

Jackson has quite the basketball resume. Jackson, a Scott County native, played her high school basketball as a Lady Indian of Oneida. She graduated Oneida High School in 2002. She then went on to play on the college level for four years at Carson-Newman College.

She then began her coaching. She then traveled to Morgan County and became coach of Wartburg Middle School. After that she returned home to Oneida for a two year stint coaching both the middle and high school versions of the Lady Indian. Later she moved to Campbell County and coached the Lady Blue Devils for four years.

Now she will bring her talents to LaFollette and the Lady Owls. She will take over a stored program that has competed for the TMSAA Basketball Championship on multiple occasions over the years.
