Riley Wolfenbarger was named MVP of his age division at the Atlanta Hoopfest

Though school basketball season is over there is no rest for many young basketballers. The Tennessee Travelers are one such group. Their 4th grade division team boasts a quartet of local youth who play their school ball as Cardinals of Caryville. Riley Wolfenbarger, Dylan Ford, Gavin Cox and Doug Adkins have had quite the experience traveling with their team.

They recently traveled to Georgia Tech University to compete in the Atlanta Hoopfest. The Travelers not only won their division but Wolfenbarger was named MVP of the division. In his past 15 games Wolfenbarger has been 42/135 from the field and has had 23 assists and 35 steals. Douglas has been a rebounding machine with 30 boards. Ford has been a consistent contributor with his dozen assists and rebounds along with his 16 steals. Cox has been absolutely dominant on the boards with 116 rebounds, he also has 28 steals.
