Deputy Dakota Williams was patrolling in Jellico when observed a woman in front of Jellico United Methodist Church. The woman identified as Misty Lamb. 43 of Jellico, screamed a racial and sexual slur about Joe Hopson to WIlliams. At that point Williams made direct contact with Lamb. According to the report Lamb stated to Williams that she did not like Hopson and that is why she screamed it at Williams.
The report states that Deputy Williams noticed that Lamb was unsteady on her feet. Deputy Williams asked Lamb if she had anything illegal in her person. Lamb told Williams that she had a hypodermic needle and presented it to him. A search yielded a quartet of other hypodermic needles. At this point Deputy Williams took Lamb into custody and transported her to the Campbell County Jail. When Lamb was searched at the jail a silver gum wrapper fell from her crotch area and it contained a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Lamb is charged with Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Introduction of Contraband Into a Penal Facility. This is her 7th booking into the county jail.
