Last week Deputies Bumgardner and Daugherty were dispatched to Willis Lane due to reports that a male subject was laying in the middle of the road and also wandering up onto the porches of the area’s home owners. When the deputies arrived they made contact with Andrew Odell. According to the report Odell was unable to stand still, was jerking, and had slurred speech. As Corporal Daugherty was doing a pat down on Odell he found a pair of hypodermic needles and a pair of baggies containing a a clear and rock like substance in them.
Odell was then placed into custody. The report indicates that Odell admitted that the substance in the baggies was meth. Odell was transported to the county jail.
Odell is charged with public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
