Last weekend the Bethel Fishing Team traveled to Lake Tenkiller in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to participate in the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series National Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops. Over 130 boats qualified to fish this event. One of those qualifying boat was Cougar Fishing alumni Seth Roberts and his partner Hunter Louden. They competed against teams from the University of Tennessee, Bryan College, The University of Wisconsin, Coastal Carolina, Clemson, Auburn and many others.

The duo placed highly as they were the 11th place boat with a total for the weekend of six live fish that weighed a cumulative 19.14 pounds. The accrued a total of 463.24 points on the day.

Roberts teammates Garrett Enders and Cody Huff were the overall champions as they had a dozen live fish for a total of 41.6 pounds and 500 points.
