Summer music, jet skis humming, laughter, splashing and daring one another to “jump” is the only sounds you will hear coming from both sides of Cedar Creek bridge today. Tourists gather in swarms to our own Norris Lake this week to celebrate the most vacationed and heavy water trafficked time of year here locally. Drive safe along these areas as many children and well-meaning, celebratory adults are out and about near these bridges with their water activities. Please be patient. Remember, what we call home they call paradise. Let’s share a little of what God has blessed us with. Let them know what true “southern hospitality” is all about. Be as sweet as our tea. Happy 4th everyone, from the Volunteer Times!
