Senior Aydan Massengll managed to start the final home game of her Cougar career last week. Aydan had been a long time starter at keeper before a knee injury ended her Cougar career.

Senior Carson Meade was very good at both offensive line and defensive line on Friday night vs Powell High school. Carson plays virtually every play of every game and has been a leading force for the Cougar line in 2020.

Sophomore Mason Shanks had multiple big catches vs a highly skilled Powell Panther team. Mason spent the evening making tough catches in traffic over the middle and running over Powell defenders on the sideline to keep a Cougar touchdown drive alive in the second half.

Junior David Bates shot a 72 to finish 3rd among individual qualifiers at the region tournament last week. The finish qualified Bates for an appearance in the state golf championships.

Senior Mackenzie Potts finished her home volleyball career last week against Bearden. She played excellently from her outside hitter position while providing steady serves and senior leadership as the only healthy senior on the team.

Tyler Selvy had a spectacular game for the LaFollette Owls on Thursday night. #5 had a long reception on the second play of the game that set up the first Owl touchdown. He played great defense on the evening recording tackles and hurries during the game. He also scored the game clenching touchdown as he rumbled into the endzone on a running play.
