In February 45 year old Billy Lawson was found stabbed to death in a building off US 25W close to the Tennessee and Kentucky border. On Monday the trio accused of the fatal stabbing appeared in court. Twins James and Jamie Muse and Jordan Miracle were all in the Whitley County Courthouse for a pretrial hearing.
During the hearing it was pointed out by Ronnie Bowling, the Kentucky Commonwealth’s Attorney, the DNA has not been returned from the lab yet. He went on to point out the importance of the DNA evidence to the case.
The trio remain incarcerated in the Whitley County Detention Center without bond. The are next scheduled to appear in court for a motion hearing on February 3, 2020.
