A body discovered on the Kentucky side of Jellico has led to the arrest of three men by Kentucky State Police. The body was identified as 45-year-old Billy R. Lawson of Williamsburg was pronounced dead at the scene and shipped to Frankfort for an autopsy by the Kentucky State Medical Examiner. Lawson died of multiple stab wounds, according to the report.

Kentucky State Police arrested Jordan Miracle (22 of Pine Knot), James Muse (27 of Williamsburg), and Jamie Muse (27 of Jellico). They are charged with Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, and Tampering With Physical Evidence. The three are all in custody in the Whitley County Detention Center.

The case remains under investigation.
