On June 17, 2019 Campbell Criminal Court Judge E. Shayne Sexton found the following individuals in violation of their supervised release and remanded them to Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC) custody:

Barry Dewayne Williams, of LaFollette, had previously plead guilty to Aggravated Burglary and received a suspended sentence of 3 years supervised by TDOC. He was
found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his 3 year sentence in TDOC custody.

Steven Hill, of Lake City, had previously plead guilty to Aggravated Burglary, Forgery, two counts of Theft Under $500.00, and Driving on a Suspended Sentence and
received a suspended sentence of 5 years supervised by TDOC. He was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve his 5 year sentence in TDOC custody.

Angela Denise Lay, of Newcomb, had previously plead guilty to Aggravated Domestic Assault and received a suspended sentence of 4 years supervised by TDOC.
She was found guilty of violating the terms of his release and was sentenced to serve her 4 year sentence in TDOC custody.

The above violators were prosecuted by the Office of District Attorney General Jared Effler
