Mrs. Alice M. Lumpkins

Mrs. Alice M. Lumpkins age 87 of LaFollette passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County.  She was a member of West LaFollette Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by parents, Homer and Cynthia Bruce Miller, brother, Staley Miller, sisters, Hester Miller and Pearl Rogers.

Survivors: Husband, Hoyle Lumpkins of LaFollette, daughters, Glenda Perkins and husband, Randal of LaFollette, Mabel Hatmaker of LaFollette, and Dorothy Clinton and husband, Harley of Washington, D.C.; sons, Charles (Ed) Lumpkins of LaFollette, Doyle Lumpkins and wife, Doris of Jacksboro, and Bob Lumpkins and wife, Jania of Monroe, GA; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; niece, Judy McLemore of Morristown; nephew, Jack Miller of Caryville.  Host of other special nieces, nephews,  relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Tuesday 7 P.M. at Walters Chapel with Rev. Wes Mattie and Rev. William Trent Guy

William Trent Guy age 30, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011.  Will lived and worked in Nashville, TN, and was a 1999 graduate of Campbell County High School where he played basketball, and ran with the track and cross country teams.  Will loved being outdoors, being on Norris Lake, playing in the snow, and hanging out with his friends and family.  He was preceded in death by grandparents, Julian and Margaret Guy of LaFollette, and A.W. and Leah Depew of Morristown, also his loving Aunt, Charlotte Bain of Powell, loving uncle, John Wachtel of Morristown, and cousin, David Elijah Ray of Knoxville.

Survived by father and mother, Charles and Wanda Guy of LaFollette; Brother, Adam Guy and wife Carrie, of Roan Mountain, TN; Aunts, Joyce Wachtel of Murfreesboro, TN, Betty Moyers of Knoxville; Uncles, Ronnie Depew and wife Denise, of Dandridge, TN, Terry Bain of Powell, Sam Moyers of Knoxville; Cousins, Leah Moyers of Chicago, IL, Jarrett Depew of Dandridge, TN, Warren Depew of Tacoma, WA, Gretchen Bailey and husband Joe, and daughter, Claire, of Murfreesboro, TN, Rachel Wachtel of Franklin, TN, Melissa Ray and husband Daryll, of Knoxville, Kayla Harding of Knoxville, Patrick Bain of Powell, Bradley Bain and wife Tara, and their children, Justin and Keara, of Knoxville, Scott Depew and wife Alicia, and sons, Matthew and Jacob, of Morristown, and Tina Cantwell of Morristown, TN, and many many friends.

Mr. Earl Wade King

Mr. Earl Wade King age 59 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County.  He was preceded in death by his father, Earl King, Mother, Effie Lee Jones, Step-Fathers, Fred Tiller and Claude Jones, Nephew, Harold A. King Jr., Father-in-law, Edward James Loyd.  He was of the Methodist Faith.

Survivors: Wife, Shirley A. King of LaFollette; Children, Brian King and wife Monica, of Austin, TX, Nicole Capps and husband Jesse of Middlesboro, KY; Two Brothers, Harold King and wife Kay, and Howard King and wife Debbie, all of LaFollette; Sister, Claudia LeMaster and husband Bill, of West Virginia; Mother-in-law, Wilma Loyd of LaFollette; Sister-in-law, Judy Cboins and husband Mike, of LaFollette, Brother-in-law, Eddie Loyd and wife Kathy, of Ohio; Nephews, John Cboins and wife Jeanne, of Colorado, David Meadows and wife Rhonda, of LaFollette, and Clint Meadows and wife Lisa, of LaFollette, and Cody LeMaster of West VA; Nieces, Kelly Paul of LaFollette, Kacy Jackson and husband Josh, Kaylena Crabtree and husband Jason, of LaFollette, Britni Martin of West VA, and Kelly LeMaster of West VA; Great-nieces, Kayle, Karma, Amelia, and Abbie. Funeral Services Friday 6 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Cooper officiating.  Family and friends will meet Saturday 1 P.M. Eastern, 12 P.M. Central Time at Lantana Cemetery in Crossville, TN for graveside services and interment.  The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 P.M. Mrs. Geneva A. Carroll

Mrs. Geneva A. Carroll age 80 of LaFollette passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011, at Cumberland Village Health & Rehabilitation Center of LaFollette.  She was a member of Grantsboro Baptist Church and retired from Imperial Reading Corp.  Preceded in death by husband, Johnny Carroll, two sons, Roger Dale Carroll and Lonnie Jim Carroll, parents, Henry Gibson Brady and Ollie Landrum Brady, sisters, Bonnie Walden and Ruby Wilson, brothers, Roy, Charlie, Bill and Bob Brady.

Survivors: Children, Jerry Lee Carroll and wife, Darlene of Maryville, TN, Mark Carroll and wife, Linda of LaFollette, Judy Minton of Jacksboro and Sandra Kay Carroll of LaFollette; 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.  Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Wednesday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Goins officiating.  Family and friends will meet Thursday at 10 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Grantsboro Cemetery for graveside services and interment.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Mrs. Shirley England Isbel

Mrs. Shirley England Isbel age 69 of LaFollette born May 3, 1941, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Campbell County.  She was of the Church of God Faith.  Preceded in death by parents, Willie and Audra Dilbeck and sister, Agnes Durham.

Survivors: Husband, Jack Isbel of LaFollette, children, Roland, Pam, Travis, Lisa, and Missy; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Billy and Ronnie Dilbeck; sisters, Norma Walz and Faye Green.  Several other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Monday 2 P.M. at Walters Chapel with Rev. Andrew Ayers and Rev. Hillard Lang officiating.  Interment to follow in Davis Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M.
