A Tuesday evening auto accident on Duff Road saw Ronnie Spradlin, from LaFollette 65 years of age, and Bobby Hamblin, from Jacksboro 63 years of age, pinned in the vehicle Spradlin was driving. After the were removed from the vehicle by emergency personnel they were flown out by Lifestar to a Knox County medical facility. The Tennessee Highway Patrol accident report indicated that neither man was wearing a seatbelt.
Now Spradlin is facing multiple charges. Spradlin is charged with Vehicular Assault, Reckless Endangerment, DUI, Violation of the Open Container Law, Failure to Maintain Lane, Drivers To Exercise Due Care, and Simple Possession or Casual Exchange..
